Job Hunting is not easy this bring up an important topic of why I am writing this blog as a topic as well as to get myself a job by putting myself out there.
I am looking for a social media, music production, music tour management, any entertainment job related field , studio producer, personal assistance event host, or hosting live on the red carpet reporting jobs which I’ve have experiences in, the location I’ve looking in at is southern California Preferable in LA area any one knows who is hiring let me know. Our economy is not the greatest in the world and knowing most of the companies saying their hiring and putting up signs at the storefront, “Help Wanted” but after all the just trying to see how many people actually going in and applying for the job position.
After, investigation of few stores near me putting up the “Help wanted” as I proceeded to ask for which positions are being open at the store one of the manager have just told me quoted “ we currently are NOT hiring right now!” then I proceeded to ask then why do you still have the sign still up on the windowsill saying “Help wanted” as he was surprised that I’ve ask that question then he gave the unrealistic answer of as quoted “ Just incase one of our employee decided to leave the company we would have to put up the sign “Help Wanted” , so we just decided to not taken down.
Another problem I am running into is responding to job post position online that after you applied for a job and that they never get back to you whether or not they will let you know if the position is till being open, after a few weeks later I still saw the same posting of the job being open and it was NEVER filled, or I’ve received an email by Human resources saying the job position has been filled and keep on looking on our website to see the current relevant position being open and may interest you.
As I once again going into investigations of the position if it’s indeed was filled or not filled at all, I’ve called the companies have spoken to a Human Resource department, the person has told me the position has NOT been filled and they are currently are NOT looking for new applications applicants. I proceeded to wait out for about 2-3 weeks later and go to other job sites to look for a new position being open from other companies, on my finding I saw the same position being opened yet again on the same company. My questions are if they are not hiring why are they even putting up job posting for that position.
This is my purpose of writing this blog is to letting others aware of the reality of companies and their hiring schemes to get hopeful applicants thinning we have a chance at getting a job at the companies that we have applied for , they are just letting us down.
